I work in clinics, hospitals, and nursing homes. I help people so they are more comfortable. I give medicine to people who need it. I help doctors with equipment and operations. I have a lot of duties. Who am I? ********************************** 2. Who Am I? You come to my office to get your teeth cleaned. I will check your teeth. Sometimes I need to fix your teeth by filling a cavity. I teach patients how to keep their teeth and gums healthy. Who am I? ********************************** 3. Who Am I? I help people borrow books, audio books, ebooks, CDs, and tapes. I order new books and magazines for the school library and the public library. I help children find information on the computer. You can get a new library card from me, so that you can check out books. Who am I? ********************************** 4. Who Am I? I help boys and girls learn lots of things. I help children learn about numbers and how to count. Books are special to me and I enjoy reading all kinds of stories. I help children learn to read and write. Who am I? |

I help some families make a house. I make schools for children to learn. I make buildings so people in your community have a place to live and work. Who am I? ********************************** 6. Who Am I? I help put out fires in homes and other buildings. I put out bush fires. I help people and animals when they are trapped by a fire. I teach children about fire safety. Who am I? ********************************** 7. Who Am I? I work on a farm. I help grow vegetables and fruits. Sometimes I raise cows, horses, pigs, and chickens. Most people don’t grow their own food, so I help grow food for everyone. Who am I? ********************************** 8. Who Am I? I pick up the mail at the post office. I deliver letters and packages to your home. I have to work in all kinds of weather. I have to start work early in the morning. I help people stay in touch with their family and friends. Who am I? Now you are ready to find the 8 community workers. You need to click 3 times to highlight each square. Go to the tables tab and click on the bucket next to the word, shading. Choose your colour. When you have found all 8 words ask your teacher if you can print and give it to them to mark.
