Fairy tales is a unit of work designed to introduce Stage One students to -

Answering questions and submitting online
Students will compare two versions of Little Red Riding Hood noting aspects of the story that are the same and different. They will sequence the story in notebook 10 with increasing complex steps. Having become extremely familiar with the story, students will perform a puppet play retelling the story - perhaps their own version. Using fairy tales bookmarked in Symbaloo and embedded in the website, students are free to explore other tales at the conclusion of the unit and at home.
