In summer the weather is hot and gets hotter. People find ways to keep cool. Some go to the beach to swim, others have pools at home. and many people look for air conditioned places to cool down.
After summer comes autumn. Autumn last for three months - March, April and May.
It is time to harvest apples and pears and all the summer vegetables. Farmers prepare their fields to plant the winter crops like cabbage, carrots, and broccoli.

It is important to stay warm in winter so people wear warm hats, jackets, gloves and boots.
Many people play soccer, rugby and football in winter. Some people go to the stadiums to support their favourite teams. Even more people watch football matches on TV.
September, October and November are the spring months. In spring, there are blossoms on some trees and many flowers grow. It feels like the world is waking up and everyone is getting busy. Some people do a 'spring clean'. That means they do a very thorough clean of their house even moving all the furniture.

A Reminder:
Resizing a Graphic
1. Highlight the picture by clicking on it.
2. You will see small squares (handles) around the perimeter of the picture.
3. Put your cursor on a corner handle.
4. Drag it in and out and you will see the picture change size. It will look the same just, bigger or smaller.
5. Stop when you have the size you want.
6. If you move a side handle it will change the shape of the picture making it fat or thin, tall or short. The picture will not look the same.
7. To fix an odd shaped picture: Go to 'Edit' on the menu bar and click undo. (Repeat until the problem is fixed.)
