Take some time and read the infographics. Mentally note, to yourself, how many you familiar with already.
Task 1
1. Download and print the worksheet to the library printer.
2. Choose 3 text features to write about. 3. Find one nonfiction book with the 3 text features you have chosen. 4. Be flexible - you may have to look at many books or change your text features. Not all nonfiction books have all the text features noted on the webpage. |
Task 2
1. Download the minibook template and save as '(your name) MiniBookNF' in your class folder.
2. Choose 7 Non-Fiction Text Features 3. Write them in your library notebook. 4. Write a definition of each one. Keep it simple. Use this webpage to help you. 5. Go to the folder 'All Students' and scroll to the bottom to find pictures of text features for your minibook - the folder is called 'nonfiction text features pics'. 6. Print your minibook when it is complete for marking. |
